Professional Achievements:

Just finished my doctoral disseration domumenting the experience of Asian Pacific Islanders with diabetes in a small Midwest town.  I had the opporutnity to receive a scholarship from the INPS.

My dissertation has been published.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

I love helping people.  I spent my childhood in Puerto Rico and understand living in the Midwest and adapting to this culture.  I go out of my way to help those of other cultures understand and feel welcomed.
