Leadership positions with Houston Area Chapter NAPNAP, Texas Association of School-Based Health Care, School-Based Health Alliance (formerly National Assembly on School-Based Health Care). Speaker at local, state & national conferences Worked at state & national level with elected officials for school-based clinic funding.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

Note: no clinical rotations during COVID-19 pandemic due to necessary safety protocols and space limitations in school-based clinic. Helping adolescents be more health conscious & decrease risk behaviors. Working with families who have not had access to health care. Taking care of children from Pre-K through High School graduation in a suburban school-based clinic.
