Professional Achievements:
Learning is the cornerstone of my career. I am really happy to have obtained my Bachelors of Science and Nursing and also my Masters of Science in Nursing. There are a great deal of people who would say it is solely the experience of the nurse I'm her work that makes the career rewarding. This largely true however I have immensely enjoyed going through school, and having both theory and experience to pull from. I'm very proud to have my education behind me and I am also very grateful for the opportunities it has afforded me. It was the key in learning the multidimensional role of the nurse both staff and administrative. I got the fundamentals of nursing as well as progressive material to understand change management and the many layers of healthcare dynamic to make sound decisions in a floor nurse position and in a managing role. At 33 years of age I have nine years of incredible experience that has made me who I am and I am excited to have the opportunity to obtain my certification for Psychiatric Mental Health nurse Practitioner.
Favorite Thing About My Profession:
My favorite thing about my profession is the ability to see so many different ailments and treatments. Having the ability to learn constantly is very important to me. I believe it is what drives my career. It's an amazing opportunity to continually learn and help people everyday.
Virtues:
I have been fortunate in my career to come across many different ways to complete a task. More often than not I find professionals doing the right thing everyday. Not because it's a policy but because of a pledge to do no harm. Personal accountability within the self that brought you to your calling. It's important to me to be accountable, and to be reliable. This is not only in the sense of showing up but to know that regardless of the scenario the the most safe and effective action will be taken.
