Professional Achievements:
I'm entering into my 19th year of nursing, and feel like I have learned and accomplished so much. My experience spans from bedside care in Intensive care and Cardiovascular Intensive care to leadership roles in Management and Directing, as well as outpatient care as an Infusion Nurse. In 2017, the CVICU I worked in received a Unit of Distinction award, indicating we were practicing in the top 5% worldwide of all CVICU's. In 2019, the Oncology unit I was directing received a Unit of Distinction Honorable Mention award indicating we were practicing in the top 10% of the world. I am currently working on my MSN to become an AGPCNP and am seeking preceptors in primary care in the Baldwin County and Escambia County (AL) areas for Fall of 2023, Spring of 2024 and Summer of 2024.
Favorite Thing About My Profession:
I love helping people feel like they've been heard and understood, and helping them achieve their goals for care.
