Professional Achievements:

Officer in my local nurse practitioner group NETNPA and member of TNA and AANP. I was the first in east tennessee to establish a full time practice in nursing homes and have plans to shortly establish a house call practice for home bound elders

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

Elderly clients are so appreciative of anything you do for them. I love to teach students about common misnomers we all heard at a young age about elders that are not true. I love to teach others of the many job opportunities there are in Geriatrics.
