Professional Achievements:

Past Alabama ACNM chapter chair (2 terms), Joint Committee Alabama Bd of Nursing and Bd of Medical Examiners (2 terms).  Fellow of the American College of Nurse-Midwives 2019. Chair of the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) Midwife Ultrasound Exam (2017 to present).  Manager of the RAD-AID Grenada Nursing program. Volunteer work in N. Uganda regugee camp thru Peace International, 2019 to present. Recognized as International Nurse and Midwife of the Year, United Nations 2020. Developed nationally-approved curriculum for point of care ultrasound for advanced practice providers in women's health. Currently involved in curriculum development for ultrasound training for global midwifery practice in developing countries through RAD AID (Washington DC)
