Inducted as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners , TNP Nurse Practitioner of the Year 2016, AANP Domestic Humanitarian of the Year Award. Speaker at AANP National Conferences, Speaker at NONPF Conferences and also regional and state conferences, Authored articles in professional journals TRHA Board Member and Secretary, Appointed to Behavioral Health Primary Care Integration Commission, Serving on the Texas Behavioral Health Workforce Commission, TNP Board Member, Established the first PMHNP program for TTUHSC which to date has 100% pass rates. Established one of the first telehealth and rural practice development graduate level course for APRN students in the country. Served AANP in the telehealth consultation group. Grant Reviewer for federal grants. Selected for the Chancellors Award for Teaching in the TTU system.

Working with individuals to improve their health and education future nurse practitioners to develop their gifts and talents as health care providers.
