Professional Achievements:

Retired as Director of the Student Health Services, Florida International University after 28 yrs. of service and continue to work per diem seeing patients. Member of Florida College Health Nurses Association for over 20 yrs. and have held board positions including president; Recently resigned as volunteer Treasurer and Media Coordinator for Area Resource and Referral Organization for Women providing health education,resource information and referrals for LBT community. Have presented nationally and locaally for nursing, college health and LGBT community as well as internationally for STTI. Will be doing poster presentation for the APNA, October 2016 on LGBT, cultural diversity simulations and nursing students.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

I can make a difference in the lives of the students I see at my College Health Center.
