Professional Achievements:
My most proud professional achievement is being selected to serve as a board member for the Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center, a local non-profit agency who advocates for victims and survivors of human trafficking.
Favorite Thing About My Profession:
My favorite thing about the nurse practitioner profession is that we provide quality healthcare services to clients who would likely otherwise have limited access to healthcare. I currently practice at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Urgent Care, which is a non-profit urgent care located on the main hospital campus of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in Florida. We accept all medical insurance plans, including government funded plans, and we do not turn clients away for inability to pay. This provides me with a sense of wholeness and purpose, as I know I am helping many clients who would otherwise have no where to obtain healthcare or could incur large amounts of debt by seeking similar services in an emergency department.
Virtues:
Honesty, Generosity, Fortitude, Justice, Service, Tolerance, Humility and Affabilty.
