Certified as a Medical Examiner for Commercial Motor Vehicle licensure. Trained to treat Hepatitis C. Member of the Board of Directors for 5 years for the Illinois Society of Advanced Nurse Practitioners (2 yrs as Region Chair and 3 years as Region Vice-Chair) Clinical Preceptor for NP students for 24 yrs.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

The ability to help people learn how to take care of themselves in a healthier manner. Also, the ability to educate people about their illnesses, when necessary.
