Professional Achievements:
I have been a nurse in healthcare for close to 30 years with backgrounds in rehabilitation, family practice, outpatient surgery, wound care, lymphedema management, clinical nutrition, education, patient advocacy and in managerial roles.
Favorite Thing About My Profession:
I completed a masters degree in nursing - specifically as a family nurse practitioner at Purdue University after completing a year at Georgetown University. I transferred due to the clinical coursework requirements and caring for an elderly parent. I enjoy learning how to best help my clients improve the quality and longevity of thier lives. I am pursuing certification in Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine to help individuals that are seeking a practitioner to partner with them in thier journey to health.
