Professional Achievements:
Started in healthcare in 1985 as a Navy Corpsman, became and LVN, then an RN, worked in multiple trauma center ERs, became expert in CVICU, was a Flight Nurse/Paramedic, and lastly completed my ACNP. As an ACNP I currently am the only noturnist critical care provider for both a 30 bed MICU, 12 bed CVICU. In additon to cardiovascular and medically ill, I also cover all Neuro Critical Care patients. I complete all ER ICU/CVICU, Neuro ICU admits, and have full autonomy in their management
Favorite Thing About My Profession:
Watching the ill improve and graduate out of the ICU and go back to their lives.
