Professional Achievements:

Certified Cardiac Device Specialist. Developed educational programs for Electrophysiology. I have been a Certified Emergency Nurse, Certified Trauma Nurse, and Certified Critical Care Nurse in the past. I taught ACLS and Critical Care Courses for many years, and am currently the Clinical Educator for Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative care. I am an active member of the FNA, and present to many healthcare organizations, professional groups, and hospitals on a variety of topics which relate to healthcare. I hope to continue my education and look for opportunities to expand and grow.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

Is helping educate others on Advanced Care Planning, Palliative, and Hospice Care with a cross clinical perspective following 33 years of nursing. To change the paradigm and improve the conversation. I also feel that I am an advocate for improved patient care across the healthcare continuum.

Virtues:

I enjoy meeting new people and collaborating on improving health care delivery. I am eager to get involved in healthcare reform to better serve our community and population health systems. I am active in attending NCAPP meetings, FHCA, Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Conferences, and communicate with CTAC and IHI to stay current with issues.
