Professional Achievements:

Within 2 years of starting my nursing career, I have been promoted from charge nurse on the Childrens' Crisis Stabilization Unit to program director of the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit. I recieved employee of the month while charge nurse and a special commendation for the development of a universal "How-To" book for our nursing process. I was chosen to be a member of our EHR System development team and am currently one of 5 Superusers for our organization. I have also been trusted as an administrator for our Facebook page.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

I love seeing someone go from an acute psychotic crisis to a stable condition. The unit I run is so rewarding. We are the Navy Seals of mental health. Police bring people straight to us.
