Professional Achievements:

In over three decades of nursing, I have enjoyed a wide variety of roles and have worked with a diverse group of healthcare professionals. I completed a Master's in Public Health in 2014 and was certfied as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2018.  These advanced degrees will direct the focus of the next decades of my career on my two  greatest areas of interest, pediatrics and public health.  

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

My favorite things about my profession are:  playing an important role in people's healthcare, the ability to provide care in diverse settings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and team members, and the endless opportunity for learning that medicine and nursing offers.

Virtues:

My greatest virtues would be that I am a team player, I respect and enjoy personally interacting with persons from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and I am honest, hardworking, and a life-long learner. I am committed to providing holistic, quality care to my patients and their families and to providing them with the education they need to attain their optimum level of health. Importantly, my patients know that I genuinely care about them and that they have a partner in their healthcare.
