Jessica Albores
Jessica Albores MBA, FNP-C, DipACLM, CWS

Jessica Albores, MBA, FNP-C, DipACLM, CWS®, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner who believes in holistic patient care. She has extensive knowledge in lifestyle medicine, telemedicine, complex patient care, wound medicine, primary care, and much more. Jessica has obtained her certification in Lifestyle Medicine by the American College of Lifestyle medicine which indicates she has mastered the science of preventing, treating, and reversing chronic disease in an evidence-based manner. Jessica has a business mindset and takes great joy out of being resourceful, strategic, and innovative to meet the needs of her patients.

Josie Bidwell
Josie Bidwell DNP, RN, FNP-C, DipACLM, FACLM

Dr. Josie Bidwell serves as an associate professor in the School of Medicine, Department of Preventive Medicine at University of Mississippi Medical Center. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in 2004, 2006 and 2013, respectively. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Additionally, she is a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional and Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She was inducted into the University of Mississippi Medical Center Nursing Hall of Fame in 2021. Additionally, she was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in 2022. She is the first nurse to ever receive the distinction. Dr. Bidwell is a currently practicing nurse practitioner at UMMC’s Lifestyle Medicine Clinic, addressing nutrition, fitness, sleep, tobacco cessation, stress, and resiliency with clients 18 and older. She was named the Clinical Director of Preventive Medicine in 2020 which includes Lifestyle Medicine Clinic as well as the Student and Employee Health Clinic. Bidwell has worked with Southern Remedy since 2012. In response to Mississippi's obesity problem, the Southern Remedy team compiled the Healthy Living Curriculum which is composed of an adult and child nutrition and physical activity program. She served as the lead author for both the adult and children's physical activity curriculum. She serves as a Community Health Advocate (CHA) Master Trainer to provide nutrition, physical activity and healthy living training to laypersons and health-professional students. Bidwell, together with Dr. Alan Penman in the UMMC School of Medicine, received grant funding from The Bower Foundation to establish a healthy cooking teaching kitchen in the midtown community of Jackson. This kitchen taught healthy food selection and preparation for people with high blood pressure and diabetes. She is also a licensed fitness instructor who regularly teaches both Zumba Fitness and Zumba Kids Jr. classes. In January 2017, Bidwell became the permanent host of Southern Remedy Healthy and Fit on Mississippi Public Broadcasting Think Radio. Southern Remedy Healthy and Fit is a weekly, live, call-in show that provides residents of Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Louisiana with fact-based information about healthy lifestyles. Her main focus is improving health outcomes for the people of Mississippi through research, education and practice related to healthy lifestyles.

De Jesus LaTaya
De Jesus LaTaya DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, DipACLM

LaTaya De Jesus, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, DipACLM is the founder and CEO of Eden Health Restored, a direct care health coaching company which uses lifestyle medicine principles to help people revive their health. Previously, Dr. De Jesus worked as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in primary care where she practiced using the principles of lifestyle medicine. Dr. De Jesus has more than 11 years of experience in healthcare, which began as a combat medic in the US Army. She obtained her Master of Science in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from The Ohio State University. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Karla Rodriguez
Karla Rodriguez DNP, RN, CNE, NC-BC, DipACLM, FNYAM

Karla Rodriguez, DNP, RN, CNE, NC-BC, DipACLM, FNYAM, is a clinical assistant professor at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. She has a background in pediatrics and adult medical surgical nursing with an interest in lifestyle behaviors, mobilizing patients back into the community and taking part in making positive lifestyle changes for lifelong health. She is also a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.

Erin Sinnaeve
Erin Sinnaeve DNP, FNP-C

Erin Sinnaeve, DNP, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience in health care. She has been specializing in allergy/immunology for the past 7 years and also practices lifestyle medicine. Dr. Sinnaeve holds a BSN from the University of Nebraska, a MS from Creighton University, and a DNP from Chamberlain University. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM).

Elizabeth Winings
Elizabeth Winings DNP, APRN, PMHNP, DipACLM

Elizabeth Winings, DNP, APRN, PMHNP, DipACLM, currently works full time as an assistant professor in nursing at Jacksonville University Keigwin School of Nursing and owns Winings Wellness, a private practice based in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Winings specializes in the relationship between diet, lifestyle, and mental health. In the clinical setting, she works primarily with children and families, practicing with the understanding that health is composed of physical, mental, and emotional experiences. Winings Wellness provides mental health care with an emphasis on screening, prevention, and early intervention, including psychotherapy, conservative use of medication when needed, and nutritional guidance.

Chris Mohr
Chris Mohr PhD, RD

Christopher R. Mohr, PhD, RD, is an internationally recognized subject matter expert and speaker about nutrition and well-being. He’s on the Men’s Health Magazine Advisory Board and has worked closely with some of the largest food companies and corporations in the world, including Deloitte, Delta Airlines, Johnson & Johnson and more, to help navigate the intersection of science and application among consumers. His expertise has had him present at the White House and CIA and he has presented in over 10 countries and almost all 50 states in the US. He holds a doctorate in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh, a MS in Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts, is a Registered Dietitian and has a BS in Nutrition from Penn State.

Brandon Marcello
Brandon Marcello PhD

Dr. Brandon Marcello has over 25 years’ experience in the performance enhancement industry. As the Chief Innovation Officer and Partner in JAG Consulting, he takes forward-thinking organizations and elite athletes to the next level of their game – and careers. Having extensive involvement in both the applied and research worlds, he has implemented successful, high performance training programs for professional, Olympic, and collegiate athletes. Dr. Marcello has recently been tasked by the US Department of Defense and Nevada National Security Site to be the lead human performance advisory for the MASTER-E (The Measuring and Advancing Solider Tactical Readiness and Effectiveness) project. This is a 5-year program of multi-service interest and funded in part by the Secretary of Defense Close Combat Lethality Task Force. The program is a science and technology effort that will address a critical gap to better quantify human performance trait/state, and how it relates to improving operational outcomes. Prior to his work with JAG and DoD, Brandon served as the director of Sports Performance at Stanford University. Marcello’s role was to oversee all aspects of athletic performance enhancement for the 36 intercollegiate sports. During his seven years at Stanford, Marcello initiated cross-department collaboration with many of Stanford’s academic departments, including, but not limited to the Stanford sleep center, center for longevity, bioengineering, residential and dining enterprises, Stanford surgery, neuroscience, and the Hoover Institute. He was the creator of the highly acclaimed performance Based Dining concept that has been successfully implemented since 2011 and has received national media attention and numerous awards. A recognized author, researcher, and international presenter, he routinely speaks around the world and advises a number of MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL college and universities, and the tactical community on the topics of sleep and recovery and regeneration. Most recently he provided season-long sleep education, as well as sleep and travel strategies for the Toronto Raptors during their 2019 championship season.

Amanda White
Amanda White LPC

Amanda E. White, LPC, is a licensed therapist specializing in substance use disorders and the creator of the popular Instagram account @therapyforwomen. She is the founder and owner of the Therapy for Women Center, a group therapy practice based in Philadelphia serving clients across the country. She is the author of the book Not Drinking Tonight: A Guide to Creating a Sober Life You Love and has been featured in notable publications such as Forbes, The Washington Post, Shape, Women’s Health magazine, and more.

Marlisa Brown
Marlisa Brown MS, RD, CDE, CDN

Marlisa Brown, MS, RD, CDE, CDN, is a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator, chef, author, and international speaker. She is president of Total Wellness, Inc., a nutritional consulting company. Her passion is evident and recognized. Marlisa was awarded the Diabetes Educator of the Year from the American Dietetic Association and Dietician of the Year from the Long Island Association. She has served as past president, media representative, public relations, and bulletin chair for the New York State Dietetic Association. She serves on the “dlife professional counsel”, the online companion to CNBC’s premier diabetes program. In addition, Marlisa has presented across the country for many organizations, companies, and groups, including The American Association of Diabetes Educators, The New York State Dietetic Association, The Kennedy Space Center, Hofstra and Adelphi Universities, Goldman Sachs, Brookhaven National Labs, and The New York Jets.

Alexandra Ginos
Alexandra Ginos MBA, RD, CSP, LDN

Alexandra Ginos, MBA, RD, CSP, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian who is board certified as a specialist in Pediatric Nutrition. She has over a decade of experience in a variety of areas of pediatric nutrition and has worked with babies and kids of all ages. She worked for several years at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and currently works in a clinic for children with special health care needs at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA.
